Many people may think in order to reach their dream destination they need to fly off to a land beyond the borders, when in fact there are many great wedding destinations right in the United States. There are destinations with magnificent views and ones with lots of bright lights. There is a dream wedding destination for every couple within the U.S.
West Coast Wedding Destinations
If you want a warm west coast wedding, California offers many wonderful options. San Jose has many great wedding destinations. As part of Silicon Valley, this area offers sun, nightlife and many wonderful wineries to quench your thirst. Who wouldn’t want some delightful wine tasting to liven up their perfect wedding. San Jose is also a very cultural destination and full of beautiful parks for those post wedding photos.
If your wedding calls for something a little more outrageous and less refined, try Las Vegas, Nevada, for a fun and wild wedding that you and all of your guests will be sure to remember. Vegas offers sun, sand and casinos on every corner. You don’t have to elope to get married in Vegas! You might still want Elvis to officiate the wedding though.
East Coast Wedding Destinations
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina offers your wedding guests a wonderful view of the ocean and a lot of sand and surf. Myrtle Beach is probably best known as a destination for golfers, which can give your wedding party something fun to do before and after you say “I do.” There are also many other amusements. While the state of Michigan just appears to be a mitten on the map of the U.S., it too offers some wonderful wedding destinations. One of them is in the U.P. at Tahquamenon Falls. The falls make a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos. There is a brewery nearby, perfect for the reception. Enjoy the natural wonders of Michigan’s great outdoors.
