The Partygoer’s Guide to Prague

Partying in Prague is something that is not too hard to do.  Prague is full of nightclubs and bars and everyone is sure to have an excellent time here.  Here are some of the most exciting places to party when visiting the city!

Lavka Bar & Club is located in the Old Town. There is no dress code for this music bar.  The music played belongs to the 80’s, 90’s, 00’s, 10’s and present. It is air conditioned and wheelchair accessible.  There is a podium here to display the dancing girls. Open daily from 8 till 4 in the morning, this bar features no charge until after 21:00, where there is a charge of 100czk. Local residents agree this is a great club to party all night in.

Double Trouble Bar & Club is located in the Old Town as well.  This historic bar is best known for being the most popular Gothic cellar bar. There is free admission in this air conditioned bar that plays music from the 80’s to the present. The bar is open from 20:00-04:00 on Sundays to Thursdays, and on Fridays and Saturdays the bar is open till one hour later, until 05:00. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the dancing is fantastic.  Here you will see people dancing on bars, chairs and tables.

If you are looking for a different kind of club, you might wish to check out Zlaty Strom  Bar & Music Club. This bar features four bars, three lounges, a pole dancing section, an aquarium, and an illuminated dance floor. This bar plays music from the 80’s to the present, is air conditioned, and is located in the Old Town as well.  The admission varies for men, free entry everyday till 22:00, then on Sunday to Thursday after ten they will pay 60 czk. On Fridays and Saturdays after 22:00 the price is 100 czk.  Ladies are free all the time. This club features a signature drink called the 8 Man Mojito, which comes in a huge glass with 8 straws. In the pole section, a topless girl dancing is featured.

If you are in the New Town, you might enjoy Solid Uncertainty Bar & Club.  This air conditioned bar features free admission, music that is not too loud, and fiery red walls. This is a popular place for stag and hen parties. The club has a real party feel to it, and is open every day but Mondays.

Yes Club is also located in the New Town. This club plays the best hard core music with the latest visual technologies. There are 3 areas of the club, the main floor, the cocktail lounge, and the mezzanine, which overlooks the dance floor.  Here there are cozy alcoves.  Up until 11pm, the music is kept low key, and drinks are priced to sell.  After 11, the music is turned up and the visual show is put into overdrive.

One of the best things you can do while you party in Prague is go on a Boat Party.  This runs several times a day, all year long. The party starts at one of the most popular bars in Prague, and there you will enjoy 2 hours of unlimited drinks, (beer, wine, and vodka shooters). Mixed drinks are available for a low price. Drinking games will also be available.  After the 2 hours is up, the boat will be loaded, and you will be floating the river for another 2 hours on a party boat that features a dance floor with smoke machines, and a state of the art light and sound machine.  After the two hour cruise, the party will move to the 5 Story Club, where you will have VIP entrance with no waiting in line.  This club features 5 stories in the club, each floor with their own dance floor and type of music.  The price for this night of partying is 650czk.

There are so many great reasons why Prague is a wonderful place to party.  There are a variety of clubs to choose from and this is surely going to help you enjoy every minute of your stay.
